Aaaaah! Indie Horror Hits, a compilation DVD featuring 13 acclaimed short films, has been widely praised (Four stars – Gorezone Magazine; “…every film offers something fresh and unique to the horror genre . . . and had me thirsting for more” – Horror Society; “Some of the best short films I have seen in a while. This is real film making at its best” – Horror News).
Its success has prompted the release of a second batch of gruesome goodies, Aaaaah! Indie Horror Hits Volume 2, a collection which will feature Legend of the 7 Bloody Torturers and will go on sale for the first time at the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear this August.

Legend of the 7 Bloody Torturers will screen on Thursday July 16th at 9pm at the CryptShow Festival 09 in Sant Adria de Besos, near Barcelona. Get the complete schedule here.
Other screenings include The Last Man on Earth, the original film adaptation of Richard Matheson’s novel I am Legend, and Andreas Schnaas’ new film Don’t Wake the Dead, which apparently involves Nazis, zombies, Nazi zombies, and the Knights Templar.

Heads up Canadian cable subscribers: Legend of the 7 Bloody Torturers will air on Movieola, the Short Film Channel, on Friday July 24 at 10:43 pm.
Movieola is channel 150 on Rogers cable, channel 331 on Bell Expressvu in Toronto. I still get my TV via a broken antenna attached to a TV set I found in an empty apartment, so if you’re like me, get yourself on over to a rich friend’s house to watch. I realize it’s almost two months away, but there’s a reason why I’m giving you plenty of advance warning: Watching this movie will be a be a dynamite kick-off to a rockin’ pre-Civic Holiday weekend. Guaranteed.
