Legend of the 7 Bloody Torturers will play on Wednesday August 19th – that’s two days away – with the acclaimed German horror/romance Must Love Death as part of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.

I am a director, writer, and illustrator whose credits include commercials, industrial films, web series, short films, and features.
I wrote and directed the dark satire Legend of the Seven Bloody Torturers, which has played at over twenty festivals worldwide including the New York Horror Film Festival, the Puchon International Festival of Fantastic Films, and the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. It received highly favorable reviews ("Unexpected . . . good performances and a good punch line" – Liz Braun, The Toronto Sun; "A potent comedic sketch" – Videoscope; "A hilarious short" – 10 Movies to See Before you Die), as well as a Best Cinematography award from the National Film Board's WildSound Film Festival.
I illustrated Pipe Dreams, a government-commissioned educational comic book for children ages 8 to 12. It received the 2011 Canadian Public Relations Society Gold Award for External Communications in Print Projects, and over 80,000 copies have been distributed throughout Ontario.
I have also directed for the theatre, including The Parkdale Players' production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, which was selected by The Hour as one of Montreal's Top Shows of the Week and received excellent reviews ("Fabulous performances . . . a great play" – Arts Notebook Montreal).
My latest film is called A Friend of the Devil.
