The Blue Cookiefish of Nantucket

The Cookiefish has a bitter and unpleasant taste to human beings.  Still, Sherman was consumed with a constant fear that he would be mistaken for a cookie and eaten.  His penchant for stretching himself out on smooth metal platters and hiding in jars did him no favours in that regard.

But such was his curse as the last of the Blue Cookiefish of Nantucket.
